Hands up who loves Oreos? And considering it’s National Biscuit Day, we thought what better time than to try out this delish Oreo cheesecake recipe! Can you believe six ingredients is all you need to get to cookies-and-creamy bliss? Perfect for the kids to help with or to make on a night when the oven is tied up.
Ingredients:
36 pack Oreo cookies, divided
1/4 cup butter, melted
4 packets (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method:
Chop 15 cookies coarsely.
Finely crush remaining cookies and mix with melted butter. Press onto bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
Beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla extract in large bowl with mixer until well blended.
Gently stir the chopped cookies and spread onto the crust.
Then refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm.
Now for the fun part – it’s time to decorate! Chop some Oreo cookies up and get the kiddies together to make a gorgeous design.
