Five Minutes with Waterford Camogie Captain Niamh Rockett!

Niamh Rockett is captaining the Déise this year in their bid to win the National Camogie League. Waterford are playing in Divison One of the competition and already secured a first-round win last weekend over Wexford.

We caught up with Niamh at our launch of the Camogie Leagues and challenged her to our quickfire round of questions to find out more about her life off the pitch!

Oh, it has to be Step Brothers.

Steak and chips!

Favourite gym exercise?

It would probably be anything that involves core work!

Oh, it has to be spilt squats!

Friends.

Favourite music?

Coldplay – they are amazing!

What’s your match day sandwich?

I don’t eat sandwiches! I am a bit of a picky eater so I don’t really like them!

Dogs or cats?

Dogs, of course!

Favourite holiday destination?

The Maldives, I was there over Christmas. It was unbelievable, the water was so pure and clear. I would love to go back.
